What are the ordinary means of grace God has given to us in Christ to feed and nourish our faith, and why do we need them?

Spiritual formation is trending in churches. We’re exhorted to seek solitude, journal towards holiness, go on nature walks to connect with God, and take extended periods of silence to grow closer to God and be holy. Does the Bible tell us to do these things?
